(TEMPLE, TX) — To celebrate the holiday season, H-E-B will host its 13th annual Feast of Sharing dinner, an H-E-B tradition for community residents to enjoy a delicious, free meal and festive entertainment. Set for Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Conference Center, H-E-B’s Feast of Sharing will be located at 3303 North 3rd Street in Temple.
“Feast of Sharing supports H-E-B’s continuous efforts to serve our communities and share a spirit of camaraderie during the holiday season,” said Winell Herron, group vice president of public affairs, diversity and environmental affairs. “Over the past 24 years, Feast of Sharing has grown to be a holiday tradition in 32 locations throughout Texas and Mexico, and we appreciate the opportunity these community dinners provide to express gratitude to our customers.”
Hundreds of H-E-B Partners and community volunteers will work together to prepare and serve more than 5,000 meals to residents of Temple on December 6. Altogether, 1,250 lbs of glazed ham; 1,250 lbs of mashed potatoes; 1,100 lbs of vegetable medley; 100 gallons of brown gravy; 500 pies; 5,000 dinner rolls and soft drinks will be served.

Attendees of the Feast of Sharing dinner will enjoy live entertainment with performances by Western Hill Elementary School Choir; local high school student and guitarist Jenna McDaniel and Temple-based band, The Rescued.
