Dr. Ralph Ford to be speaker at Salado Republican Women Fine CHina Luncheon

Dr. Ralph Ford, President, Texas Operations and Online Programs for Central Texas College in Killeen, will be the speaker Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Salado Area Republican Women’s Fine China Luncheon and Fundraiser. The luncheon will be held at The Venue, 212 Royal Street in Salado starting at 11:30 a.m. 

Dr. Ford was Vice President of Student Services for a four campus comprehensive community college in New Jersey. His experience at community colleges includes Odessa College in Texas, and schools in New York, Michigan and Alabama.  He has presented at national conferences on student success initiatives, assessment of learning outcomes, global competition and institutional effectiveness.  Dr. Ford has experience as a workforce consultant to business and industry in the U.S. and overseas.  He has developed innovative college programs to prepare colleges for a diverse student body and to attract a diverse workforce.

The Salado Republican Women have been holding a Fine China Luncheon and Fundraiser for a number of years. It continues to be a very popular event.  Proceeds from the fundraiser go toward civic, educational, and political campaigns, including dictionaries for Salado third grade students, U.S. pocket Constitutions to new voters, contributions to libraries, annual scholarships, and support packages for our military.
