Floyd “Bud” Fulgham
Visitation for Floyd “Bud” Fulgham, 82, of Salado were held April 16 at Broecker Funeral Home in Salado.
Fulgham died April 14 2009 at his residence in Salado.
Bud was born April 14, 1927 in Houston to Dempsey Adson Fulgham and Kathleen Stafford.
After his tour of duty in the Navy during WW II, Bud spent most of his professional life in the construction business as superintendent of construction for Hooker Construction Company in Waco. He then spent several years in the house moving business. He retired in 1979.
Bud was a bachelor all his life but was “father” to numerous Salado children, helping them with their studies and rewarding their efforts with candy.
Bud is preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Ted Fulgham of Antlers, OK.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert and wife Joyce of Salado, Charles and wife Connie of Pflugerville.
In addition, he had four nephews and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Salado Independent School System, 550 Thomas Arnold Rd., Salado, TX 76571.
Broecker Funeral Home of Salado is in charge of arrangements.
