Emerson Ray Fuller passes
Services for Emerson Ray Fuller, 91, of Salado, were held Oct. 5 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Derald Duger officiating. Burial followed at Salado Cemetery. Fuller died Oct. 3 at home.
He was born Jan. 28, 1914 in Prairie Dell to Millie and Frank Fuller, and was reared in Salado and Cone, Texas. He was a farmer and then a carpenter, building many houses in the Salado area during his lifetime.
Ray was married to Pauline Ruth Carter for 49 years beginning April 30, 1938; she preceded him in death on Dec. 8, 1987. On Sept. 4, 1989 he married Billye Williams Street.
Also preceding him in death is a son, Norman Wayne Fuller.
Survivors include his wife Billye Fuller, of Salado; son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Michele Fuller of Belton; daughter, Sharon Klitgaard of Plano; stepsons and step-daughters-in-law, Darrell and Maudie Street of Salado and Gene and Leisa Street of Dallas; three sisters, Frances Daniel of Amarillo, Edie Marrs of Ralls and Irene Warrick ofFort Worth.
He is also survived by grandchildren Steve, Mike, Leigh, Mark, Katie, Travis, Emily, Clayton, Ryan and Brianne as well as 10 step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VistaCare Foundation, 2626-B 37th St., Temple 76504 or to the charity of one’s choice.
