Glasscock, 61, passes away at her residence

Nancy Walker Glasscock, age 61, of Salado, died February 19 in her residence. Memorial services were held February 23 at the Salado home of Nancy Walker Glasscock.

Nancy Walker Glasscock was born on August 9, 1940 in Temple. She was the daughter of the late C.L. “Chick” Walker Jr. and Iladene Madeley Waler. She attended school in Temple and graduated Temple High School in 1958. She graduated with honors and received a Teaching Certification from Mary Hardin Baylor University.

She is survived by one son, David Dale Glasscock, Jr. of Salado; two daughters, Shelley Wood and Janet Shirley of California; and one sister, Elizabeth A. Walker of Houston.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Peaceable Kingdom Retreat 18 South Main Street Temple, Texas 76501.

Harper-Talasek Funeral home in Temple was in charge of the arrangements.
