On Saturday, October 26th, Sunday the 27th Salado’s Tablerock Walking Trail will be magically transformed into a Fright Trail. From 6:30PM ‘till the approach of the witching hour 10:00PM Goblins will extract a $3.00 fee from children and a $5.00 fee from big children for a walk on the spectral side of Tablerock.
A guide will enlighten you with facts about respective authors as they lead you to scenes from Macbeth, The Invisible Man, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy’s Curse, an excerpt from Edgar Allen Poe and more of America’s most treasured classics. One section of the trail will portray Alice in Wonderland, Billy Goat Gruff and the Troll who guards the bridge, Dorothy and the Wicked Witch, elves and blithe spirits. Andy Anderson, the channel 6 Chief Meterologist for KCEN HD, will once again portray The Headless Horseman. or Horse Actors will enact scenes from chosen classical tales of terror and from Grimm’s Fairy Tales to entertain and educate both the young and the young at heart.
