Hansen, 50, passes away Oct. 26 in Temple
Jon A. Hansen, of Salado, passed away from natural causes Oct. 26 in a Temple hospital. He was 50 years old.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Oct. 29 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Reverend Alan Struckmeyer officiating. Burial will follow Oct. 29 in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Hansen was born March 26, 1953 in Larned, Kansas, to Elmer R. and Dorothy Murray Hansen. He graduated from Larned High School in 1972, after which he moved to Temple.
He married Deborah K. Ochs on June 28, 1975 in Temple. Hansen was employed for over 10 years by Performance Food Group as the purchasing manager of the meat division. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Temple.
Hansen was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman who enjoyed music and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah K. Hansen, of Salado; one son, Brent Edward Hansen, of Salado; one daughter, Keri Lynn Hansen, of Salado; two brothers, Ronald G. Hansen, of Bolivar, Missouri, and Jeff L. Hansen, of Arlington, Texas; and one sister, Carolyn Eichman, of Dodge City, Kansas.
