To the Editor:

In an earlier edition of the Salado Village Voice a letter was published as a “Thank You” to Josh Kubiak of the Kubota tractor dealership in Temple, Texas, for the loan to “The Salado Village Volunteers,” of a 60 inch, zero turn, commercial lawn mower.  The letter was submitted with the title “A Gesture of Goodwill.”  The title was changed by the editor to “Keep Salado Beautiful”.  We, the Salado Volunteers, want it clearly understood that although we work to keep Salado beautiful, we are not in any regard associated with or regulated by the organization in the Village titled “Keep Salado Beautiful.”  We (The Volunteers), are a totally independent organization supported primarily by donations from caring Salado citizens.
