Services for Helen Wujick,  85 of Salado will be private.

Helen Wujick died August 14, 2013 at her home in Salado.  She was born January 24, 1928 to Wassel and Kathrin Praskavich.  She grew up in a small Pennsylvania town where she worked in the local drug store after school.

She and her husband Albert were married June 26, 1952 in Belle Vernon, Pa.  They had four children which she cared for during Albert’s relocations as a private pilot.  They traveled to West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Connecticut and Dallas during his career.

In 2000 she and Albert retired and moved to Salado. 

Helen was a first born American with Russian Orthodox parents.  

She was is preceded in death by her parents and her son Doug.

She is survived by her husband, son Bruce from Conne, daughter Laurie from Dallas and Mary from Cincinnati, OH.  She had 2 grandchildren.
