James Gaylon Arnold, Sr.

Services for James Gaylon Arnold Sr., age 55 of Salado were held June 13 2011 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Reverend John Warden officiated. Burial followed in the Salado Cemetery.

Arnold died June 10 2011 at his home in Salado.

He was born January 17, 1955 in Belton to James Grover and Shirley Ann (Warrick) Arnold. He grew up in Belton and attended Belton Schools. He spent his life in ranching and construction and worked for Mike Walker Construction. He also loved to hunt. He married Frieda Frances Mikeska on July 7, 1973 in Taylor. He attended 3 C Cowboy Church.

Survivors include his wife Frieda Arnold of Salado, 2 son; James Arnold II of Salado, Daniel Scott Arnold of Georgetown, daughter; Sheila Kelley of  Jarrell, 2 brothers; Kirk Arnold of Belton and Joe Arnold of Salado, sister; Pam Brown of Port Lavaca, 7 grandchildren.
