Salado JV Eagles lost to the Hyde Park Panthers JV 15-8 on Sept. 8.

Salado’s only touchdown came on a 30 yard pass from Caleb Chambliss to Samuel Brown. Jeb Sproul scored the two point conversion run to give Salado an 8-0 lead.

The Panthers scored 15 points in the fourth quarter for the win.

Leading the offense were Chambliss, Brown, Sproul, Kyle Saunders and Bryce Wales.

Leading defensive players were Hunter Bales, Rustin Hale, Gordy Wilson, and Garrett Knight

“The team showed great effort and never gave up,” Coach Troy Ramsey said.

The Eagles will play the Florence JV Bufaloes at 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at home.
