Kyle Saunders scored Salado JV Eagles’ only touchdown on a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter to lead Salado past the Troy Trojans 8-0 on Aug. 25.

“This was a great defensive game played by the team,” Coach Troy Ramsey said. “The offense is beginning to take shape and is giving great effort to try to make the team successful.”
Outstanding offensive players were Jeb Sproul, Kyle Saunders, Caleb Chambliss and Juan Castillo.

The defense was led by Hunter Bales, Tommie Barker, Gordy Wilson and Clayton Zak.
