Salado jumped out to an early lead and never relinquished it over the Leander Glenn Lady Grizzlies in a home game on Dec. 13. The Lady Eagles led 11-5 after the first and 30-12 at the half. Pulling starters, Salado then coasted to the 41-36 win despite being outscored 13-9 in the third quarter and 11-2 in the fourth.

Abby Rembert led Salado with 14 points. She shot 36 percent from the field on 11 tries. She made four of eight three-pointers though. Rembert had nine rebounds, an assist and two steals.

Kaia Philen had 11 points in 11 minutes on the court. She shot 40 percent from the field and was three-of-seven on three-pointers. She also had five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.
