Lorena Perez scored 15 of her game-high 29 points in the first quarter to lead the Salado Lady Eagles to a 58-44 win over the visiting Lorena Lady Leopards on Nov. 10.

Salado jumped out to a 25-5 first quarter lead of the Lady Leopards. Lorena outscored Salado 16-14 in the second and Salado took a 39-21 halftime lead. Salado coasted to the win, allowing every player time on the court.

Also scoring for the Lady Eagles were Priscillia Torczynski, 8 points, Katie Law, 6 points, Amanda Cantu, 5 points, Kenslee Konarik, 5 points, Reese Preston, 4 points, and Megan Manibusan, 1 point.
