Salado Lady Eagles are 9-0 in district after breezing past the Florence Lady Buffs 8-0 on March 4.

Outside midfielder Katey Ewton led the team with two goals and two assists. Forwards Jessica Ringstaff and Sara Wilkerson had two goals in the game. Midfielder China Saxton scored a goal and had an assist. Forward Annie Ewton had a goal.  Outside midfielder Brileigh Cole and Defensive Midfielder Tyler Pierce each had an assist.

“It was a great game,” Katey Ewton said, “and all of the support made it more fun to play.”

The Lady Eagles are 17-1 overall; 9-0 district and ranked #2 in state.
