Salado Lady Eagles lost the coin toss to determine the third and fourth place seeds for District 25-4A and face Geronimo-Navarro, the first place team from District 26-4A, in the bi-district round of the playoffs on April 27.

Navarro had a 20-10 record and 9-3 in district 26-4A. Salado’s record was 17-7 and 5-5 in District 25-4A play.
Burnet won District 25-4A outright and faces La Vernia. Burnet’s record is 21-4 and 9-1 going into the playoffs. La Vernia’s record is 14-18 and 7-6 going into the playoffs.
Liberty Hill was second in District 25-4A with a record of 23-7 and 9-1 in district play. The Lady Panthers face Wimberley, which is 21-8 and 8-5 in district play.
Lampasas faces Cuero in the first round of playoffs. The Lady Badgers carry a record of 12-11 and 5-5 in district into the playoffs. Cuero has a record of 19-5 and 8-4 in district play.

Salado Lady Eagles shut out Llano on their home field in the final game of district play April 22, winning a Mercy Rule shortened game 12-0.
The girls got 12 hits on the way to the win, while Salado pitcher Bailey Tindell gave up just three hits and struck out seven batters. She walked one batter and hit another to send her to first.
Meagan Hill led off the game with a walk, advancing on a bunt by Rebecca Dockray. She scored on a single by Malory Schattle for a 1-0 lead in the first.
The girls added four more in the third. Abbie James was hit by the pitcher to lead off the inning. She scored on an error by the third baseman that allowed Meagan Hill to turn a grounder into two extra bases. Dockray doubled to play Hill and Schattle triple to plate Dockray. Schattle scored on a sacrifice fly by Payton Dreitz.
Returning to the top of the order in the fifth, Salado scored four more runs for a 9-0 lead. Hill led off with a single and Dockray bunted, putting runners at the corners. Schattle doubled to score Hill and an error by the shortstop on the next play allowed Dreitz to get to first, Schattle to get to third and Dockray to score.
Schattle scored on a single by Jenna Calder. An error by the second baseman loaded the bases with Dreitz going to third, Calder to second and Lindy Martin to first. A bunt by Tindell plated Dreitz and kept the bases loaded before the final two outs in the inning were made by the Lady Jackets.
The Lady Eagles put three more across the plate in the sixth inning. Dockray walked and Schattle singled. Madeline Murray hit into a fielder’s choice that forced an out at third. Calder doubled to plate Murray and Martin doubled to plate Calder before the third out was recorded.
Defensively, the Lady Eagles allowed no Lady Jackets to get beyond second base. Llano was able to put just seven runners on base in the game.
Schattle led the girls, going 4-for-4 with two singles, a double, a triple, three runs batted in and scoring three runs.
Calder had two hits, a single and a double and 2 RBIs.
