Leander Glenn beat the Salado Lady Eagles 72-49 in a road game for Salado on Nov. 21.

Glenn took the early lead of 17-12 and added to it each quarter, leading 36-28 at the half and 53-41 after three.

Lorena Perez led Salado with 14 points, 15 rebounds, an assist and 2 steals.

Amanda Cantu followed with 11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. 

Reese Preston also had 11 points, adding a rebound and 2 assists.

Also scoring for Salado were Priscilla Torczynski, 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists; Katie Law, 5 points, 5 rebounds and Kenslee Konarik, 2 points, 3 rebounds.

JV Girls

The JV team traveled to Leander Glenn on Nov. 21 to walk away with a 42-16 victory. The Lady Eagles played tough defensive pressure the entire game. Sophomore, Harley Drouillard, had a great game putting 20 points on the board. Brooke Ellithorp added 9 points and Elly Wade and Brooke McLaurin both chipped in 4 a piece.

Freshmen

Salado Lady Eagles Freshmen  bested Leander Glenn Nov. 21. Salado went up 8-3 in the first quarter and held Leander Glenn scoreless in the second to lead 20-3. Salado added another 12 points in the second half to win 32-12.  

Ariel Cebreco led Salado with 14 points. Also scoring were Kayla Adams, 10 points, Alison Alcozer, 2 points, Hannah Hudson, 2 points, Haley Noske, 2 points, Olivia Walrath, 2 points.
