With a near-perfect season that ended in the State Semi-final game against Jasper, Salado Lady Eagles dominated the 25-4A All District Team that was released last week.
Senior China Saxton was named the MVP of the district. She scored 18 goals and had 14 assists on the year. In District play, Saxton scored 11 goals and had six assists.
Junior Annie Ewton and Senior Sara Wilkerson were named the Co-Offensive MVPs in the district. Ewton scored 18 goals and had 14 assists on the season. In District play, she scored 11 goals and had seven assists.
Wilkerson scored 13 goals and had 16 assists for the year. In district play, Wilkerson had 11 goals and 11 assists.
Receiving nods to the First Team All-District were seniors Morgan Bird, Katey Ewton, Juniors Kristin Crouch, Olivia Sula, and Sophomore Reagan Morreale.
Seniors Daniela Gantenbein, Carly Nichols and Jessica Ringstaff were named to the Second Team. Sophomores Ashlen LaCanne and Tyler Pierce were also named to the Second Team All-District. Senior
