Salado Lady Eagles split their district games last week, losing to Llano in four sets on Oct. 4 and sweeping Lampasas on Oct. 7.

The Lady Eagles lost on the road to the Llano Lady Jackets Oct. 4. After winning the first set, the Lady Eagles lost the next three.
Salado had 12 aces in the match, led by Katie Robinson and Natalie Fort with four each. Also scoring aces were Brettney Fuller, Kerrigan Hearne, Lindy Martin and Mikaela Heiner, one each.
Victoria DeKay led the girls in attacking the net with 17 kills. Also recording kills were Robinson, 10, Mariah Vaillancourt, four, Brianna Washington and Jamie Rich, two each and Martin, one.
Vaillancourt blocked three shots while Washington and Martin blocked one each.
Martin led the girls with 24 assists followed by Fuller’s 12 assists.

Salado swept Lampasas in easy fashion Oct. 7, seemingly scoring at will.
The girls had 17 aces with Robinson scoring six of them. Also scoring aces were Fuller, Heiner and Natalie Fort, two each and Hearne, one.
The Lady Eagles had 27 kills in the match, spread among six players. Robinson led the squad with nine, followed by DeKay, eight, Rich and Martin, three each, and Washington and Vaillancourt, two each.
Vaillancourt blocked two shots while Rich and Washington blocked one each.
Hearne led the defense with six digs. Fort had five digs, followed by Fuller and Martin, three each, Robinson and Heiner, two each and Rich, one.
Martin had 15 assists and Fuller had 11.
