Salado Lady Eagles continued their run through District 24-4A, beating Gateway College Prep in five and Marble Falls.
The Lady Eagles bounced back from a 25-19 loss to Gateway College Prep in the first set, winning 25-20 and 25-19 in sets two and three, before the Lady Gators forced a tie-breaker by winning the fourth set 25-15. Salado held on to win the tie-breaker 15-10 Oct. 15.
Macy Morris and Haley Brown both had two aces, while Charli Niu and Mazzy Johnson had one each.
Brown had 10 kills to lead the girls, followed by Kael Wilcox and Elsie Law, nine each, Payton Ortega, six, Morris, four, and Niu, two.
Niu and Law had four blocks each, followed by Morris, three, Wilcox, two and Ortega and Brown, one each.
Niu led the girls with 29 assists, followed by Ortega, Wilcox, Kate Maedgen and Shelby Hollywood, one each.
Johnson made 21 digs to lead the girls. Also making digs were Niu, nine, Brown and Hollywood, eight each, Maedgen seven, Wilcox and Ortega, six each, Morris, four, Karlee Konarik, two, and Ortega and Law, one each.
Salado swept Marble Falls 25-13, 24-10 and 25-8 in a home match Oct. 18.
Haley Brown led the girls with four aces, followed by Mazzy Johnson, three, Payton Ortega, two, and Shelby Hollywood and Charli Niu, one each.

Law had two blocks, while Morris and Wilcox each had one.
Niu had 33 assists, followed by Brown, three, Wilcox, two, Morris and Hollywood, one each.
Brown and Kate Maedgen led the girls with six digs each, followed by Johnson, five, Niu, Hollywood, Wilcox and Karlee Konarik, two each and Ortega and Kaylee Bragg, one each.
