Salado Lady Eagles won the Bruceville-Eddy tournament Dec. 10-12 after falling to San Saba 53-30 in a non-conference game.

Salado Lady Eagles jumped out to a 27-12 halftime lead in their tournament opened against the West Lady Trojans. The girls went on to win 50-31.
Ally Ihler led the girls, shooting 57% from the field and scoring 20 points. Ihler also had a rebound, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block.
Kenslee Konarik followed with 13 points. She grabbed 6 rebounds and 2 steals and had 5 deflections and an assist.
Also scoring for the Lady Eagles were Harley Droulliard, 9 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 deflections; Reese Witmer, 4 points, 7 rebounds, an assist and a deflection and Brooke McLaurin, 4 points, 6 rebounds and a block.

The Lady Eagles dominated the first half of their contest against Georgetown JV, outscoring them 27-14 before coasting to a 42-33 win.
Taking 22 shots, Konarik led the girls with 20 points. She grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double and had 5 steals and a block.
McLaurin followed with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals.
Also scoring were Ihler, 4 points, 2 rebounds and a steal and Marissa Lancaster, 3 points, 2 rebounds and an assist.

The Lady Eagles beat the Georgetown 9th grade squad, 41-35, in the second day of the tournament.
Konarik shot 77% from the field to lead the girls with 18 points. She also had 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the tournament, as well as grabbing 4 steals and blocking a shot.
Ihler followed with 14 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Also scoring: Droulliard, 5 points, 1 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals; and Witmer. 4 points, 3 rebounds and an assist.

Salado handled McGregor with ease, 48-27, led by Konarik scoring 18 points.
Konarik also had 6 rebounds, 4 steals, an assist and a block.

San Saba scored 21 points in the second quarter to take control of the game on Salado’s home court. San Saba led 31-11 at the half and won the game 53-30 on Dec. 7.
