Salado Lady Eagles won the Killeen I.S.D. Invitational Soccer Tournament to start the season with a string of four wins.

Sam Isbell blocked the final penalty kick by Cypress Springs to give Salado the win with four penalty kicks to three penalty kicks after the teams tied at 1-1 in regulation.

Katey Ewton scored the goal in regulation with an assist from her sister Annie Ewton.

Scoring penalty kicks were Tyler Pierce, Olivia Sula, Annie Ewton, and Reagan Morreale.

Salado beat Gatesville in the first round 2-0. Reagan Morreale scored a goal with an assist from Jessica Ringstaff.

China Saxton also scored a goal with an assist from Morreale.

The Lady Eagles kicked past Pflugerville Connally 4-1 in the second round of the tournament.

Tyler Pierce  scored a goal with China Saxton giving the assist.

Saxton scored the second goal with an assist from Annie Ewton.

Pierce scored the third goal with an assist from Rebecca Gonzales.

Pierce scored the final goal for Salado with an assist from Saxton.

Salado shut out the Ellison Lady Eagles 2-0 in the third round of the tournament.

Annie Ewton scored a goal with an assist from Olivia Sula.
