Salado Varsity Girls Track team won the Salado High School Invitational March 8 with 153.5 points. Academy placed second with 108 points.

Elizabeth Ford placed second in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.26. Angie Sanders placed fifth with a time of 13.55. Kaia Philen placed sixth with a time of 13.66.

Kaia Philen placed third in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 28.58. Breigh Oliver placed fourth with a time of 28.63.

Samantha Vargas placed fourth in the 400 Meter Dash. Taylor Rich placed fifth with a time of 1:05.42.

Jaci McGregor placed first in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:29.67.

Sammie Bourque placed fourth in the 100 meter Hurdles with a time of 17.98.

Salado’s 400 Meter Relay team of Angie Sanders, Breigh Oliver, Janiah Del Rio and Macy Thrasher placed second with a time of 52.04.

Salado’s 800 Meter Relay team of Breigh Oliver, Elizabeth Ford, Janiah Del Rio and Kaia Philen placed first with a time of 1:50.48.

Salado’s 1600 Meter Relay of Elizabeth Ford, Janiah Del Rio, Samantha Vargas and Taylor Rich placed third with a time of 6:00.

Elizabeth Ford placed first in the Long Jump with a distance of 16’-1 1/4”. Kaia Philen placed second with a distance of 15’-6”.

Landry Rogers placed second in the Discus with a distance of 110”-6”.

Jaci McGregor placed second in the Triple Jump with a total distance of 32’-9”. Breigh Oliver placed third with a total distance of 32’-7”. Kaia Philen placed fourth with a total distance of 31’-8”.

Elizabeth Ford placed third in the High Jump with a height of 5’-0”. Emaly Vrooman placed sixth with a height of 4’-6”. Lorna Fleet placed sixth with a height of 4’-6”.

Presley Maddux placed third in the Pole Vault with a height of 9’-0”.

JV Girls

Salado JV Girls Track team placed third in the Salado High School Invitational March 8 with 98 points. Holland won the meet with 147 points.

Rachel Luke placed fourth in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 14.25.

Nena Vero placed third in the 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:10.62.

Nena Vero placed first in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:44.46.

Lily Lougheed placed third in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 6:52.

Lily Lougheed placed second in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 15:06.

Salado’s 400 Meter Relay team of Ashley Voelter, Jorja Washington, Megan Manibusen and Mia Patton placed first with a time of 54.10.

Salado’s 800 Meter Relay team of Ashley Voelter, Jorja Washington, Megan Manibusen and Mia Patton placed first with a time of 1:57.53.

Salado’s 1600 Meter Relay team of Ashley Voelter, Jorja Washington, Megan Manibusen and Nena Vero placed first with a time of 4:42.30.

Ashley Voelter placed fourth in the Long Jump with a distance of 13’-7 1/2”.
