Lois F. Casey

Services for Lois F. Casey, 89, of Belton were held October 8, 2011 at Salado Cemetery.  Visitation preceded the service Oct. 7 at at Broecker Funeral Home, Salado.          
Lois F. Casey died October 2, 2011 at a local hospital. 

She was born June 20, 1922 in Bruceville-Eddy, TX to Samuel Wolley and Verg Keaton. She attended the Bruce-ville-Eddy High School.
Lois met Wayne F. Casey, Sr. of Salado at a movie house in Temple while on a blind date and they married December 16, 1944.  They lived in Salado until his death in 2003.  They were married for over 59 years.

She worked for the Temple Daily Telegram as a typesetter and other production activities for over 20 years before retiring.
Her love was being a seamstress and making clothes for her family.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salado and particularly enjoyed bible study which she attended regularly.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star. 

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband and brother Bud Wolley.   

She is survived by her sister, Leona Caddell, Temple, and  also her son, Wayne F. Casey, Jr. and one granddaughter, Waynette Casey.

Arrangements are being handled by Broecker Funeral Home of Salado.
