Lura Morene Derrick

Services for Rene Derrick will be October 19  at First Baptist Church, Salado.  Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m., services at 11:30 a.m., lunch at 12:30 p.m. and interment at the Salado Cemetery at 2 p.m.

A viewing and gathering will be 5-7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Broecker Funeral Home.

She was born November 27, 1917 in Welty, OK to William Bradford Carroll and Lella Irene Milligan.  

In 1938 she married Leslie Derrick, Sr.

She had three children, son Les in Houston and son Phil in Salado and the late Olin Bradford.  

She has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Salado in her honor.
