Services for Marcella Mary Wilson were held October 8, 2011 at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Salado with Father Gregory McLaughlin officiating.  Burial followed at Salado Cemetery.

Marcella Mary Wilson died October 1, 2011 at her residence.  She was born on January 8, 1928 in Effington, Minn. to Paul Turchin and Pauline Danelke Turchin.  

Marcella married Harold Hagen in 1951.  They lived in Minnesota where she was a buyer for Norby’s Department Store and then joined Arneson, Milton and Larson as department head for wedding apparel.

In 1974 they started coming to Texas to work with the Corp of Engineers and in 1983 settled in Salado.  After Harold’s death in 1989, Marcella turned to her hobbies of crocheting and cooking.

In 1991 she married Bob Wilson and remained in Salado.

Survivors include brother, Leo Turchin, Minnesota, her daughter Candace Hagen, Salado, and her  sons:  Lester Prchal, Wisconsin, Thomas Hagen, Salado and Harold Hagen Jr., Minnesota.

In addition, she had two step-daughters, Sharon King, Belton and Luella Miller, Washington along with 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands: three sisters, Rosie Cichy, Theresa Brozek and Geneva Rjdal and  three brothers, Paul Turchin, Albert Turchin and Lawrence Turchin, all of Minnesota.
