Marie Butscher

Services for Marie Butscher, 96, of Temple, formerly of Toms River, New Jersey will be February 21, 2010, at Salado Cemetery with Brady Johnston, associate pastor United Methodist Church, Salado presiding.  She died Sunday, December 27, 2009 after a brief illness.

    Butscher was born to Otto William Fuhrmann and Anna Kamm in Buffalo, New York after they had immigrated to the United States from Russia. On May 19, 1940 she married Jack Butscher and lived in Toms River, New Jersey until his death in 1993.  She moved to Texas to be near her only son, Bruce of Salado. She was a homemaker all her life.
    She was preceded in death by her mother and father,  and her husband, Jack.
    She is survived by her only son, Bruce Butscher of Salado.  She had 2 grandchildren.
