Marilyn Gwen (Edwards) Woodruff

Marilyn Gwen Edwards Woodruff died October 30, 2013 at her home in Milwaukie, OR. 

She was born April 14, 1947 to Dr. and Mrs. T.P. Edwards in Karnes City, TX and moved with her family to Bell County in 1961, graduating from Belton High School in 1965.

She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, her master’s at UT in San Antonio, and her specialist degree at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She taught for 40 years in Texas, Missouri and Oregon. 

She is survived by her brothers Tom Edward and wife Daryl of Morgan’s Point, Jim Edwards of Nashivlle, TN and sister Ruth Watkins of Belton. She is also survived by her children Rebecca and Thomas Cutler of Milwaukie, OR and John and Amy Landers of Idaho Falls, ID and her nine grandchildren.

A private family memorial service will be held in Texas. In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible memorials may be made in her name to the Milwaukie Center Singers, c/o Carole Huddleston, 7515 SE Michael Dr., Milwaukie, OR  97222.
