Michael Edward Thornton, 59, of Salado passed away August 3, 2019, with his friends and family by his side at Baylor Scott & White Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at St. Joseph Episcopal Church 881 N Main Street, Salado Texas.

MikeEdward Thornton was born May 14, 1960, in England to Col (Ret) William L Thornton lll and Suzanne Paden Thornton.

Mike Thornton is survived by Debra Thornton, Jean Brady, William L Thornton lV (Bill) & his son William L Thornton V (Will), Lisa Thornton, Austin Brady, Aaron Brady, wife Carrie, 2 children; Hoyt & Laurel, Elizabeth Thornton-Bremer and her daughter Sophia Bremer, Margaret Thornton Clark, husband Dave and Margaret’s son Matthew Roden, Thomas Thornton, wife Sarah, Yoshiko Paden, Carrie Paden Rengifo, Jeffery Thornton, Kay Thornton Swanson, Mr. & Mrs. Eddy Penny, Derek Penny; wife Kathy, Steve Penny, Rusty Hilton, Doreen Ibach and a very special friend who was there until the end, Janaa Hall Chrystal.
