Priscilla Anne Beadle
Priscilla Anne Beadle, age 73 of Salado, died Friday, January 9, 2015, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco, Texas.
Priscilla was born in Clarksville, Texas to Pat Clark Beadle and Lela May (Wooley) Beadle.
She graduated from Clarksville High School in 1959. She attended the University of North Texas in Denton and obtained a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with honors in 1963. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Marketing and Economics and later obtained her Doctorate from the University of North Texas.
She worked for the University of Texas at Dallas for many years. She joined the university as a special assistant to the president and later became Vice-President of Student Affairs, where was instrumental in building the foundation for on campus student life as the university evolved from a two year to a four institution.
Beadle later moved to the office of the provost and served the university as Vice Provost. For many years, she served on the board of directors for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Pat Forrest Beadle.
She is survived by her brother, Daniel James Beadle; two nieces, a nephew and five grand-nieces and a grand-nephew.

A celebration of her life will be planned to take place in February.
