Pvt. Samuel Lee Moody
Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who was pronounced dead, March 21, 2009 from cause unknown at this time.
Pvt. Samuel Lee Moody, 29, of Orange, Texas was found unresponsive in his barracks room. Emergency Medical Personnel received negative response from an electrocardiogram, and the Soldier was pronounced deceased.
Private Moody entered the military October 2008 as a Cavalry Scout. He was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division since February 2009.
Moody’s decorations and awards include the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.
