Raymond Andrew Kite

Services for Raymond Andrew Kite, 74, of Salado will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Salado, with Travis Burleson officiating.

Internment, with military honors, follow at the Salado Cemetery

Raymond Andrew Kite passed away March 5, 2016 at his residence.  He was born in Texarkana, Arkansas to Raymond and Judy Kite.

Ray married his wife Mary on April 30, 1977.  They have been residents of Salado for 38 years.

In October, 1959, Kite enlisted into the United States Air Force and served 4 years.

When he left the service he began working for Xerox for 22 years.  Then became self-employed owning a copier business.

Kite eventually retired from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor as the Audio Visual Director.

Survivors include his wife Mary Kite; sons Ronnie Kite and wife Jenny of Belton;  Kevin Kite of King; David Kite and wife Becky of Salado; daughter Cassie Campbell and husband Sam of Salado; brother Wayne Kite and wife Lola of Texarkana, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association @ Alz.org.
