Creative writing classes with Cynthia Linzy begin on Sept. 6, at 10-11:30 a.m.  and 7-8:30 p.m. The weekly class is held on Tuesdays, and cost is $35 for the month for ages 15 and up. Attendees should bring a composition book or journal.

Widely published and acclaimed poet Cynthia Linzy will lead visualization exercises, easy writing prompts, and useful writing examples to create strong writing with careful word choice and other effective writing techniques. Join this group of informal writers and discover a unique writing style in a relaxed, informal, supportive class atmosphere. Class includes individual critique of your work and suggested sources for publication if desired.

The Cultural Activities Center, located at 3011 North Third Street in Temple, offers classes and programs for all ages throughout the year.
