BELTON — Services for Richard Duane Beckham Sr., 76, of Salado were held 11 a.m. Dec. 22 at Victory Baptist Church in Salado with the Rev. Bill Borho officiating.

Burial followed in Cedar Valley Cemetery in Salado.

Richard Duane Beckham died Saturday, Dec. 19, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 23, 1939, to Milton and Alice Jenny Beckham in Austin. On Feb. 29, 1976, he married Jacquelyn Yarbough Jackson in Salado. He was a glazier most of his life and owned Richard’s Glass and Mirror for more than 20 years. He was a member and associate pastor of Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard D. Beckham Jr. and Bill Jackson.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Marvin H. Beckham and Brent Beckham, both of Waxahachie, Arlen Beckham of Jenks, Okla., and Joe H. Jackson of Salado; five daughters, Ginny Larvin of Kyle, Sylvia Summers of West Warwick, R.I., Peggy Combs of Ruidoso, N.M., Mylinda Middleton of Evening Shade, Ar., and Mary Wallingsford of Georgetown; a sister, Patsy Bucher of Austin; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church of Salado, 13295 FM 2843, Salado, TX 76571.

Visitation was held at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.
