 Robert Lynn Johnson passed away July 20, 2014, at his home in Fairview, with his wife, Penny, by his side.  
    The Johnsons were Salado residents from 2008 to 2011.
    Johnson had been battling cancer since February, 2004.

    Robert (Bob) Lynn Johnson was born Feb. 8, 1959 in St. Louis, Mo., and raised in Poplar Bluff Mo.
    He married Penny, on Sept. 5, 2003. She survives.
    He is also survived by his mother and step-father Patricia and Lynn Tinnin of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two children, Cory and Taylor Johnson of Lancaster, Calif.; two step-children, Crystal King of Elgin, Texas and Nick King and wife, Amy, of Goldthwaite, Texas; one sister, Coleena Moore and husband James of Bartlesville, Okla.; a niece and nephew and four step-grandchildren.
    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 24, at the Lost Pines Cowboy Church,  334 Roemer Rd, Elgin, Texas.
