Services for Ross held July 8 in Killeen

Tommy Bruce Ross, 81, of Salado, died July 8 in a Temple hospital.

Graveside services were held July 12 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full military honors.

He was born Oct. 21, 1925, in Dallas, to Thomas and Bynah Ann Ross. He joined the Marines in 1943. He served in WWII and was discharged on Dec. 20, 1945. He worked as a bricklayer in construction for most of his life.

Ross is survived by two sisters, Bynah Stallings, of Salado, and Lucille Camp-bell, of San Antonio.

Services were directed by Dossman Funeral Home of Belton.
