Salado Eagles beat up on the Gatesville Hornets in a home game Dec. 4.

The Eagles led the Hornet 19-16 in the first and made some distance 37-25 in the second. Salado made the lead 58-38 in the third and tacked on another 21 points in the fourth to win the game 79-51.

Goings led the Eagles in scoring with 29 points. Followed by Noah Self, 16 points and Luke Law, 15 points.

Also scoring for Salado were Pitcock, 8 points, Jenkins, 5 points, Gonzalez, 2 points, Wilson, 2 points, Ethan Llobergat, 2 points.

JV Eagles 36

Salado JV Eagles were beaten by Gatesville  in a home game Dec. 4.

Salado tied Gatesville 12-12 in the first quarter and score 9 points in the second to lead 21-16. The JV Eagles scored 12 points in the third to lead Gatesville 33-26 going into the fourth. The JV Eagles were outscored 3-12 in the fourth to be overtaken  for a 36-38 loss.

Gilpin led the JV Eagles in scoring wtih 14 points. 

Also scoring for Salado were Sermon, 7 points, Pettigrew, 6 points, Maedgen, 4 points, Stump, 3 points, Barksdale, 2 points.
