Salado Eagles will host the Lorena Leopards, both of which are tied for first place in District 9-4A with Robinson, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14.
The Eagles are on a four-game win streak after going on the road to beat Fairfield 21-14 last week.
Lorena blew past the 2-4 Mexia Blackcats 42-14 to improve to 3-3 on the year.
Meanwhile, Robinson traveled to Connally to breeze past the 3-3 Cadets 49-29 to improve to 5-1 on the year.
Mexia travels to Connally while the Rockets host Fairfield this week.
The Leopards are led by senior quarterback Cole Baker, who has thrown for 920 yards so far this season. His favorite targets are Jacob Spivey, who has 407 yards on 20 catches and a touchdown.
Junior Thorr Hoffman leads Lorena with 408 yards on the ground.
Salado scored touchdowns in the second, third and fourth quarters to beat the Fairfield Eagles at home Oct. 7.
The Eagles offense pounded out 300 yards on the ground. Meanwhile quarterback Haire connected twice with Aaron Torczynski on two passes for 14 yards in the air.
Two Salado runners got past the 100 yard mark.
Trey Sheppard had 137 yards on 25 touches. Torczynski had 104 yards on 23 carries. Jake Harvey added another 49 yards on 10 carries and Jake Elliot had 10 yards on three carries for the Eagles.
Salado marked 23 first downs in the pound and ground game.
Salado drew first blood with a five yard TD run by Torczynski a with 9:29 left in the first half. The PAT failed.
With 5:22 left in the half, Fairfield scored on a 32 yard run by Zac Barlow, who led the team with 71 yards on nine carries. He also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown of 14-of-24 passing and an interception late in the game by Cutter Hudgens that sealed the win.
Salado took the lead in the third on a 1 yard dive by Torczynski with 5:24 left. Tate Harvey ran in the two-point try to give Salado a 14-7 lead.
The Eagles added to the lead with 4:47 left in the game on a 15 yard run by Sheppard. Jake Walrath kicked the extra point for a 21-7 lead.
Barlow connected with senior Nic Mooneyham for a five yard touchdown with 3:40 left in the game. Erick Rodriguez Reyes kicked the extra point to bring the score to 21-14.
