Salado FC Academy Red Team win two at CAYSA

Salado FC Academy Red Team beat the Hill Country FC U10 Boys 10-0 and the Hayes Youth South Association Academy U10 Boys Wolfpack 7-5 on Sept. 10 at the CAYSA Academy Festival in Manor.

Leading players for the entire festival each scoring their first goals ever for Salado FC: Jaxon Teer, Matthew Davis and Brodie DeLukie.

“Salado FC jumped out to an early lead on HCFC and despite coaching attempts to even up the game the boys from Salado were too strong and won handily,” said coach Robert Anderson.

“Salado FC again jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and this time with coaching adjustments the Wolfpack was able to respond and make a good game of things,” he added. “The boys from Salado were able to play as a team and hang on for the win.”
