Two Leadership teams advance to State contest

Salado FFA members competed in Leadership Development Events. The  CenTex FFA District Leadership contest was held Nov. 13. Area competition was held Nov. 21.

Advancing to the State Competition are the Public Relations and Ag Advocacy teams. The State competition will be held Dec. 3 – 5 at  Sam Houston State in Huntsville.

Leadership Development Events focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classrooms.
