Trice took the ball 60 yards in the third quarter for the only touchdown of the period. The conversion attempt failed giving Salado a 36-0 lead.
Stuart Lastovica crossed the goal line from three yards out for the final touchdown. The point-after failed giving Salado a 42-0 win.
“The offensive line opened holes up all game long,” said coach Scott Ringo, “providing the backs with lots of room to run.”
The defense held Taylor scoreless, led by Hunter Pannell, Blake Madden and Brian Chavez.
The Eagles are 1-1 on the year.
