Concert will follow 5K down Thomas Arnold

Salado Chamber of Commerce will again host the coolest 5K in Central Texas – the Midnight Madness 5K run, which will take runners and walkers for a country run out Thomas Arnold.

This race gathers for registration at 8 p.m. on Aug. 1  with the firing pistol starting the race at 9 p.m. Aug. 1  at Johnny’s Outback. Backroads will begin playing at the Outback at 8:30 p.m. and continue until 11 p.m. at which time the awards ceremony will take place. Admission to the concert is included in the race fee, but others can enjoy the concert for just $5 per person. The after-run party will end at midnight.

The entry fee for the Midnight Madness 5K is $30 for adults and $20 for students, active duty military/dependents and veterans. Registrations after the due date of July 25 is $40 per person, $30 for students and military and late registrants may not receive an event t-shirt. So hurry and register today!
