Sharon Jungman Copeland

Funeral services for Sharon Jungman Copeland, 63, of Salado have been set for 2:00 pm Thursday at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel in Belton with Rev. Arthur Washburn officiating and Alan Haire doing the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Salado Cemetery.

Sharon was born in Bexar County on February 25, 1948 to the late Patrick John and Leila Youngson Jungman.  She married Joe Lynn Copeland, Sr. on February 15, 1963 in Austin. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2007. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Florence.

Sharon was a homemaker, licensed realtor, and a partner with her husband in the trucking business. 

Survivors include her son, Joe Lynn Copeland Jr. and wife Ashleigh of Salado; a sister, Sheila Kemp and husband H.P. of Salado; four beloved grandchildren, Cody, Cole and Jessica Copeland, and Garett Qualey; and two nephews, Donald Haire and wife Tammy and Alan Haire and wife Angie and their respective families.

Pallbearers will be Alan Haire, Donald Haire, Larry Copeland, Phil McGuire, Bubba Moffat, Joe Jackson, and Kevin Carroll.  Honorary pallbearers will be H.P. Kemp, Velda Carroll, Fred Gottschalk, Hank Hightower, Elwood Sutton, Byron Goode, Orville Evans, Marylyn Ragsdale, Rosemary Bookman, Orb Cabiness, Benny Carroll and Peggy Wilson.
