The women’s society from St. Stephen Women’s Catholic Church met on Saturday May 7 for their annual luncheon at the Ambrosia Tea Room.

President Barbara, Hoelscher and Vice President, Jan Morin addressed the women and thanked them for their year of service.

Last year the women’s society  purchased the altar tabernacle, altar stand and the baptismal font for their new church sanctuary.

The women had a vision for the tabernacle many years ahead of the construction and were prepared last year to present their gift to the new church.

The Turkey Bingo, a major fund raiser, will be held Sunday, November 13.

The women’s society encourages the spiritual development of one another, the parish, and the community through their cooperative activities, friendships and fellowship within the society.
