Salado recommended as Cultural District
The Village of Salado is one step closer toward being designated as a Cultural District. Jill Shipman, president of the Public Arts League of Salado, learned earlier this week that Salado is one of seven applications that the Cultural District Designation Evaluation Panel is recommending for the designation. TCA received 12 applications for the designation in 2016.

Edgy Art Show brings artists together in friendly competition
Come watch these artists create their work Saturday
The Second Annual Edgy Art Show will showcase eight artists working in different media on March 28 as they create unique pieces during that morning and afternoon centered around a theme.
“They’ll learn what the theme is just 24 hours before they set up and begin work that Saturday,” said Jennifer McFarland, volunteer chairman of the Edgy Art Show.
