Services for Thomas Elihu Lancaster, 72, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Aug. 28 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

T. E. Lancaster passed away August 24, 2015 at a local hospital.

He was born on September 20, 1942 to Henry Lancaster and Doris Foster Lancaster in Salado,. He attended Temple High School and at the age of 19, he married Mary Janice Dant. They had two children.

He retired from ER Carpenter and continued to work as a truck driver for Downing Transportation. T.E. attended the 15th Street Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his father; brother, Nathan Lancaster; sister, Francine Lancaster; and grandchild, Tamera Lancaster.

Survivors include his wife; mother, Doris Lancaster; son, Tim Lancaster; daughter, Laura Pritchard; brother, Jim “Peabody” Lancaster; sister, Donna Watson and a grand-daughter.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Aug. 27 at the funeral home.
