H.F. “Hap” Weaver passes
H.F. “Hap” Weaver, 88, of Salado died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006.
H.F. Weaver was born in Teague to John Frank and Lily Brannon Weaver. He graduated from Van High School and from Texas A&M University in 1950. He retired from Mobil Oil Corp. As a regulatory engineer in 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, serving in the European Theater. He married Ginger Miers on Oct 5, 1946, in Mexia. He was a member of Temple Bible Church and Gideons International.
Survivors are his wife of Salado; two sons, Hap Weaver of Boerne and John Fred Weaver of Salado; a daughter, Yvette Ellison of Petersburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
