Martha Williams Harper, age 99, of Salado passed away peacefully Sunday, February 21, 2021.
She was born in Lorena, Texas on June 27, 1921, to Katherine and Robert Williams.
Joyce Ann (Smith) Pershall left this earthly home at 7:14 PM on February 8, 2021 to her final resting place in Heaven.
Joyce was born the first daughter of Arthur V. and Helen Francis Smith on August 8, 1929 at Wetumka, Hughes County, Oklahoma. Joyce received her first education in the Wetumka school system. Her family moved to north central Oklahoma, Osage County, attending Shidler and Fairfax High School.
Dr. Robert Leon Volle, Sr., of Avon CT, formerly of Salado, TX passed away from natural causes on February 3, 2021.
He lived a wonderful and productive 90 years.

Sonya was born August 27, 1953 in Friona, Texas. She was the eldest of three children born to Andrew and Doris Levina Brown.

Basil Attal, Sr. of Austin and formerly of passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 88 at his residence, the Enclave of Cedar Park.
Mr. Attal was born in Austin on April 16, 1932 to Wolfred and Martha Attal. Basil was one of four children. He attended St. Mary’s Cathedral and later graduated from Austin High School as Vice President of his senior class.
Nell Rose Anderson, age 94, of Salado, passed away on January 22, 2021 in Georgetown, Texas.
She was born on November 29, 1926 in Lubbock, Texas to Otis Herman Horton and Ettie Lee (Clements) Horton.
Johnny R. Lopez, 66, of Davilla, died Friday, January 22, 2021, at his home.
The family will received friends for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
Johnny R. Lopez was born May 4, 1954, in Taylor, the son of Ignacio and Ramona (Ybarra) Lopez. He grew up in Salado and graduated from Salado High School. He worked for HEB at the downtown HEB in Belton, at the 31st Street location and the current HEB in Belton. He also owned his own upholstery shop. He married Traci Street May 9, 2019 in Temple.
Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his father, one brother David and his father-in-law.
Survivors include his wife Traci Lopez of Davilla, his mother Ramona Lopez of Temple, four daughters Morgan Rabel and Jenna Rabel both of Davilla, Tamecia Dutton and Julie McElwarth both of Waco: three brothers Michael Lopez of Temple, Albert Lopez of Salado and Ignacio Lopez, Jr. of Belton; and three grandchildren.
