Louis Milton Ivey

Louis Milton Ivey was born October 14, 1946 to Nedro Harmon and Louis Milton Ivey, Sr., of Sparks, Texas. Louis graduated from Academy High School in 1965 where he played football, a life long love, baseball, and basketball, and distinguished himself academically.

Louis had a long and fascinating corporate career in Information Technology beginning in 1965 with LTV Corp, University Computing Company, Republic National Bank, Dallas, First City Bank of Texas, Houston. In 1987, Louis moved to Philadelphia to head up the IT Division of PFSF Bank. EDS acquired that IT Division in 1989 and Louis was moved to EDS Plano. The ensuing years took him back to Philadelphia and New Jersey, New York City, back to Plano three different times, Houston, Colorado, and Australia, then back to Plano before he retired from EDS in March 2006.

Clarence Leonard Allen

Clarence Leonard Allen, age 88 of Fort Worth, passed away on August 18, 2020. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville on Aug. 25. He is buried in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.

Allen was born in Eldora, Iowa to Clarence Richmond and Dorothy Jane Older Allen.

James Ervin Fitzhenry passed away unexpectantly on Saturday, August 15, 2020, just shy of 87 years. He lived a life as a joyful role model and dedicated Christian witness to everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Settle Fitzhenry, with whom he spent 65 love-filled years, two daughters, Julie Corley, and her husband Don of Waco, and Gay F. Butz, and her husband Tom of Charleston, SC, four grandchildren and three great granddaughters.

LTC(R) Richard (Rick) Lawrence Powell, 67, died at his home in Killeen on June 22, 2020.

Rick was born to CW4 Theo Lawrence and Valerie Barbara Powell, in Bountiful, Utah on January 11, 1953.  This was were he grew up and learned to love sports from his mother, where he excelled at skiing, was a ranked tennis player, played golf, and was an AAU Swimmer for the University of Utah.

She was the fourth child of William Warren Parramore and Mildred Regina Johnson. Jean lived in Winters with her family until she left for college after her high school graduation.
