Congregation marks decade of growth with construction of new sanctuary
In 2006 3C Cowboy Fellowship began its journey with a small group of people. There have been some changes along the way but the one thing that has stayed the same is the purpose of the church to reach Cowboys and Cowgirls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Robertson Plantation opens doors for special Gala
Gala affair will benefit Salado Historical Society, Central Texas Area Museum and Robertson Colony-Salado College Foundation
The Ambrose and Cowan families, sixth generation owners of the Robertson Plantation and descendents of E.S.C. Robertson, are hosting a gala to benefit historic preservation in Salado on 7-10 p.m. Dec. 3.
The Gala affair will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by The Range at the Barton House and live music by Pam Bland and Drs. Matt Rogers and Guy Okeson.

The annual Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday Nov. 22, at the Church of Christ, beginning at 6 p.m. The devotional message this year will be brought by Pastor Robert Whitefield of 3C Cowboy Fellowship.

Thanksgiving Fest at Val Verde Baptist Church
The community is invited to a free Thanksgiving Feast at Val Verde Baptist Church of Holland on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 12:30 p.m., after the Morning Worship Service. The menu will include cajun fried turkey, smoked brisket, and smoked ham plus all the trimmings. There will also be games, activities and music for all ages. This event is presented as a celebration of Thanksgiving to our Lord for His wonderful provision, and as a gift from Val Verde Baptist Church to the community. Everyone is welcome. Val Verde Baptist Church is located on FM 2268 nine miles east of Holland or nine miles south of Rogers via FM 437.
Salado Community Thanksgiving Service set November 22
The annual Salado Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday Nov. 22, at the Church of Christ, beginning at 6 p.m. The devotional message this year will be brought by Pastor Robert Whitefield of 3C Cowboy Fellowship.
The Salado Community Chorus, directed by Jim Mohon, has become a regular feature of the service and will again present several songs. Another regular part of the service will be the annual collection taken to benefit Salado Family Relief.
Refreshments will be served after the worship service. Members of the various local churches are asked to bring their favorite desserts.
The church, located at 217 N. Stagecoach Rd., invites all to come and share in this time of praise to God.
